The Po-e-TREE project developed out of a community art summit Crocker Art Museum held to discuss how art and culture can used to help address interests in the community. A day long series of sessions with community members, artists, business owners and Councilmember Carr's staff was held which also included a bus tour of District 8. The idea that developed from that interaction was a mural project which included opportunities for events at the tree mural locations. The trees are currently housed at the North Laguna Library, Cabrillo Park Pool, John Still Elementary, and other places through out the district. See how many you can find!
